Sometimes footballers try to pretend that they're going for the ball when they're really just trying to obliterate their opponent. This guy isn't one of them.
In what appears to be an amateur match between French sides Dozule FC and Vicomtais, what starts as an attacking run ends with a harsh takedown from a player who had no intention of going for the ball whatsoever. He did immediately raise his hand as if to say, "Yep. Believe it. I just did that," and went over to see if his writhing opponent with the destroyed knee was okay before receiving his red card. But if he really cared about the guy, you know, he probably wouldn't have gone in so late.
