2011 NBA Mock Draft: Charles Jenkins a Perfect Fit for Chicago Bulls

2011 NBA Mock Draft: Charles Jenkins a Perfect Fit for Chicago Bulls

Kyle Korver, Ronnie Brewer and Keith Bogans have provided the major perimeter threat for the Chicago Bulls throughout the season, but that's not going to cut it for the long-term.

After failing to acquire help at the shooting guard position at the trade deadline, the team has really suffered in the postseason as a result.

Hofstra guard Charles Jenkins would provide a perfect solution to that problem.

Since Ben Gordon departed via free agency to the Detroit Pistons, the Bulls have struggled to replace him.

Jenkins, a 6'3" combo guard who played both the point and the shooting guard spots at Hofstra, is a dynamic weapon from the outside and would instantly provide an upgrade over what Chicago currently has on the roster.

Had he gone to a bigger school with a more notable basketball program, it's likely that he'd be a lot higher on a lot of big boards.

But if he falls to the Bulls at the back end of the first round, it's going to be an absolute steal.
