Villarreal play football with Christmas decorations at Rossi's house

It's Christmastime and footballers are celebrating with a bit of nog-drenched yuletide fun of their own. In this holiday sketch from the boys at Villarreal, we see a flour-faced Giuseppe Rossi preparing for a little Christmas Eve get-together by singing "O Sole Mio" (like every real Italian does all the time) and tossing around a wad of dough that looks like it was chewed up by a feral cat.

His teammates Cazorla, Capdevila, Gonzalo and Diego Lopez all come over to join in the festivities and while Rossi resumes murdering the dough and singing, a bouncing Christmas tree ornament captures everyone's football-obsessed minds. They then get a match going inside Rossi's living room using tiny trees as goal posts employing slide tackles that turn into hugs. At first, Rossi breaks out the stereotypical Italian hand gestures and utters an inevitable "Mamma mia!" before finally joining in (while still wearing his chef's hat and apron).

Then Santa crashes the party and everyone looks at him like he's a home invader. Finally, Santa wins them over by revealing a yellow suit and joins in the fun. The end.

Later, everyone laughed when Rossi put on Santa's discarded red suit and a pair of overalls and said, "It's-a me, Mario!"
