The fight in the ring may not be considered by some to be a big time event but everything else in and around Cowboys Stadium is going to be grand.
Jerry Jones along with Top Rank Promotions is pulling out all the stops in hopes of entertaining upwards of 60,000 fans today in Dallas.
Fans, especially those of Margarito, can hang at the "Tecate Fan Zone" from 2-7 p.m. at Cowboys Stadium Parking Lot #4.
Expect live music and autograph sessions with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Jorge Arce. Best of all, the host of the party is Eduardo "Piolin" Sotelo, better known to many Americans as the Copales Charros' stadium announcer from HBO's "Eastbound and Down." That's right, the "Kenny Powders" guy is appearing from 4-6 p.m.
It's actually a coup for the promotion. The ratings for Piolin's show on Univision Radio match some of the highest in the country. He has a huge following and has been a staple at big fights for years.
We have no information on whether Vida, Maria or Stevie will be hanging in the Tecate Fan Zone.
