Chile prepare for Copa America by ripping clothes off Cereceda

No longer under the iron-fisted rule of Marcelo Bielsa, the Chilean national team train for Copa America with new coach Claudio Borghi, who has allowed journalists more access than his predecessor. As it turns out, that might have been a mistake.

Pictures of players pranking defender Roberto Cereceda by pulling his clothes off in the middle of the training ground were published by the Chilean press and prompted some to question how seriously they were taking their preparations. This angered the team and they responded by refusing to speak to the press. Before taking their vow of silence, striker Jean Beausejour said (via Globoepsorte):

"If you ask me, the press should not be in Juan Pinto Durn [Chile's training complex]. There are places for privacy and what happened to Cereceda has happened a thousand times."

Wait, has it happened to Cereceda each of those one thousand times? If so, that's just cruel.
