Portuguese Liga club Beira-Mar sit comfortably (if you ignore their finances) in the middle of the table after winning the second division and gaining promotion last season. So they had a lot to celebrate at their recent 89th anniversary party. They sang "Happy Birthday" to the club and brought out a fine-looking cake that only had one measly candle that needed to be blown out.
Well, when Mr. Mustache went to exhale on it, he apparently forgot that he had to continue holding the cake because the whole thing went tumbling into the podium. But there wasn't any panic or calls for the five-second rule, everyone just had a laugh, applauded and carried on with their evening.
And the countdown to who would be the first person drunk enough to eat cake off the floor began.
