Jon Jones begin campaign for sainthood
If I?m ever in distress I certainly hope Jon Jones is nearby.
The UFC Champ displayed his good nature again just a month after doing so before his title fight.
If you?ll recall the night he won his title bout he helped his coaches apprehend a thief who had broken into a ladies car.
Well, he was at it again, only this time he didn?t need force, just a credit card.

While on a business trip to Florida this week, Jones observed a young woman along with her child involved in a somewhat loud conversation over a cell phone while he was checking into his hotel. Jones overheard the young woman crying because she had apparently flown to Florida to be with her boyfriend, and after an argument ensued, he left her and her child to fend for themselves with no place to stay and an airline ticket for a flight that didn?t depart for two days. Jones took it upon himself to offer to put the young lady and her child up in the hotel for the time she needed until her flight could take her back home.
It?s rare when an athlete can be that selfless. Too often these days were are bombarded by stories of athletes refusing money and involving themselves in less than respectable activities outside of their sport. Here?s the greatest fighter in the UFC taking it upon himself to help wherever he can.
I just wonder how good the sports landscape would be if there were more people like Jon Jones in it.
