Like everyone else, ESPN is getting excited for Saturday's match between Real Madrid and Barcelona to start the overload of Los Clasicos that will inundate us between now and early May. In fact, they're so excited that they're getting their Ronaldos mixed up.
In what was supposed to be a head to head comparison between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the Friday evening episode of SportsCenter showed the Brazilian Ronaldo, who retired in February and hasn't played for Real Madrid since 2007 instead of Cristiano (who featured heavily in the highlight video that preceded the graphic).
Needless to say, Retired Ronaldo has not scored 40 goals this season for Real and will not play on Saturday. He is still very much retired. And busy singing Rolling Stones songs to Bono.
