The New York Giants were stunned and embarrassed in blowing a 21-point lead with 8:17 remaining and losing the battle for the NFC East lead to the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday.
But Big Blue's veteran players liked what they saw on Wednesday, the first day back on the practice field since the Meltdown in the Meadowlands.
"Coming off of last week, it was kinda one of those things where you get knocked off the horse, you want to get back on, pretty much just kind of pick up the pieces," said linebacker Michael Boley, a six-year veteran "We left one out there, and right now it's pretty much all about getting back to where we want to be."
Guard Rich Seubert was equally matter of fact about the task now confronting the 9-5 Giants, who can earn a wild card berth by beating the 8-6 Packers on Sunday in Green Bay.
"If you're going to dwell on what happened last week and let it affect the way you prepare the following week, you're not going to be good, win or lose," said Seubert, a 10th-year Giant. "We've had some big wins and we've had some big losses.
