Scholes stabs Zabaleta with his foot, Balotelli annoys everyone

With Wayne Rooney and his overhead kicks serving out his swearing ban, Man City finally get a meaningful win over Man United to advance to the FA Cup final. Though City played great after working through their early nerves, it was really Man United mistakes that led to their 1-0 victory. Michael Carrick set up Yaya Toure's fantastic finish with a dismal pass and Paul Scholes one-upped Nigel De Jong by getting sent off for stabbing Pablo Zabaleta in the thigh (drawing blood) with his boot in the 72nd minute.

And when the final whistle finally blew following five minutes of Fergie Time, Mario Balotelli added his own personal touch to the day by taunting Man United fans in celebration and showing them the badge on his shirt, angering Anderson and Rio Ferdinand. That sparked a post-match scuffle on the pitch that almost seemed inevitable from the start. Roberto Mancini, naturally, wasn't happy with Balotelli for that, but it really couldn't have gone any better for City.

Now they just have the small matter of winning the final before winning an actual trophy.
