Antonio Cassano has already joined AC Milan for their winter training excursion in Dubai and it sounds like he's been back to his pastries in bed nights from his time with Real Madrid. Says La Gazzetta dello Sport of his early rapport with Zlatan Ibrahimovic:
The understanding between Milan's two alleged bad boys quickly has quickly come about, and although it was only a small match among team-mates, things looked good and Cassano seemed to be in good form, although he still has a few pounds to shed (perhaps three or five kg).
Granted, it's been two full months since Cassano personally offended Sampdoria president Riccardo Garrone and played his last match for the club. But none of that matters to Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri. Nor does the fact that he stormed out of Roma and Real before that on less than friendly terms. Says Allegri (via La Reppublica):
"Antonio is not a monster, but a professional."
Upon hearing that, people who have actually dealt with him before were heard to mutter, "No, really, he actually is kind of a monster."
